8th graders in Skilled and Technical Sciences elective built cabinets. Today they are recording a video about how they built their cabinet and what they did well and areas to improve on.

8th grade students in Mr. Avery's Music Creations elective are learning how to use Garage Band to add sound to movies.

Spring Concert by our Gretna Middle School Bands!

Congratulations to 7th grade teacher Cody King on receiving the Gretna Foundation's 6-8 Educator of the Year Award and our School Nurse Jackie Bolas on receiving the Gretna Foundation's School Nurse Award! Thanks for your hard work and dedication!

6th graders created clay mugs in art class!

The 8th graders are enjoying a beautiful day at the ballpark! Students worked hard to complete all their work to be a part of the field trip today!

We enjoyed hosting the Class of 2031 at our Step-Up-to-6th Grade event!

End of the year Spirit Week! May 13th - May 17th!

Spring Vocal Music Concert - rescheduled for a morning performance due to last night's weather. Performances have been recorded and will be shared with parents.

Due to the change in the weather forecast for this evening, the Vocal Music concert scheduled for 7pm tonight has been CANCELED for tonight. Further information will be sent out to parents tomorrow.

6th graders read Maniac Magee - now they are creating trading cards of 6 characters from the story using Canva and AI.

We are excited to meet our future 6th graders on Tuesday, May 7.
