These honorees, who have touched the lives of countless students and colleagues, were recognized for their unwavering commitment to education and the Gretna community.

Stacey Deterding, Principal of Aspen Creek Middle School, has been a cornerstone of Gretna Public Schools since 1994. With a huge heart and a passion for helping students, Stacey has inspired both students and colleagues alike.

Diane Marshall, Teacher at Cedar Hollow Elementary, started her journey with Gretna Public Schools in 1994. Over the decades, she has enriched the lives of everyone she meets, leaving a lasting impact both inside and outside the classroom.

Todd Mueller, Principal of Gretna High School, joined the district in 1993 as a student teacher before coming on board full-time in the fall of 1994. Todd has been a key figure in connecting with students, leading with humility, and focusing on team success. His passion for education and dedication to his students have made him a respected leader.

Superintendent Travis Lightle shared his deep gratitude for these outstanding educators, saying, "These three individuals have been instrumental in living our mission of accepting all children and have helped build a foundation for years to come. We are proud to have them as part of the Gretna Public Schools family."

As these three continue to inspire future generations, their legacy of dedication and excellence reminds us all of the profound impact educators can have over the course of their careers.
